Cost guideLovable

Is Lovable expensive?

What Lovable costs when you wanted a website: credits, retries and a codebase to maintain.

List prices change. We do not freeze them here. Lovable pricing

Lovable gets expensive when every correction is a new generation against a credit pool. Not when you only look at the starting price.

What you pay for

Lovable sells capacity and credits, not a classic website plan. Check their own pricing page. The numbers move.

A first draft can be cheap. The last twenty percent, moving a paragraph or swapping an image, costs another attempt.

Costs that do not show on the invoice

You get code. That is a strength if you are building a product. It is a cost if you only wanted a marketing website somebody can edit.

A prompt loop for everyday changes. That is time, and it is credits.

When it is worth it

Expensive when

You wanted a website, not an app, and no developer will run it afterwards.

Content will change every week by someone who does not prompt.

Fair when

You are building a prototype or an internal tool and want to own the code.

A developer takes over after the first draft.

Common questions

Their model is capacity and credits, and it changes. We do not write a frozen figure. Open Lovable's pricing page and count how many generations you actually run.

We’ll share plans and pricing before launch. Also compare how many AI rounds routine changes require.
