How it works

Restore points made for you

A point is saved every six hours while you make changes, and before you publish, before AI edits and before a restore. You can save one yourself too.

Look before you restore

Open an earlier version and look at it. Keep it, or restore only the page you are on.

Roll back the live website

If a published change was a mistake, you roll the live website back to an earlier publish. 8pixel asks you to confirm first.

How many are kept

Beta accounts keep the 10 latest restore points.

What you get

Undo 40 steps back

Undo and redo reach back through your last 40 changes in the editor.

Safe to try things

A restore point is saved before AI edits, so you can try an idea and go back.

Restoring touches only the draft

Restoring a version changes your draft. The live website stays as it is until you publish.

Earlier publishes are kept

The live version and the 10 before it are kept, so there is always something to go back to.
